To celebrate its 75th anniversary, The Folio Society is giving away two copies of Bomber Command, Max Hastings’ masterly account of the RAF campaign during the Second World War.
This special edition includes a new introduction by the author, illuminating photographs and illustrations, and more than a hundred interviews with aircrew veterans. Hastings examines every part of the Bomber Command story, from strategy, decision-making, and the key role played by radar and other technologies, as well as the complicated and often fraught relationship between Sir Arthur Harris, Commander-in-Chief of Bomber Command, and Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
