Neil Faulkner, Editor
Neil is an archaeologist and historian. He works as a lecturer, writer, excavator, and occasional broadcaster on a wide range of archaeological and historical subjects.
Educated at King’s College, Cambridge, and the Institute of Archaeology, UCL, he is now a Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, the Features Editor of Current Archaeology, and a Lecturer for NADFAS.
He co-directs the Great War Archaeology Group, the Great Arab Revolt Project (in Jordan), and the Digging Dad’s Army Project (in London).
Seema Syeda, Assistant Editor
Seema read History at Trinity College, Cambridge, where she developed a keen interest in Middle Eastern and imperial history. She continued her studies at Cambridge with an MPhil in World History, writing a thesis on liberalism in 19th century Japan and the Ottoman Empire. After a couple of stints working as a political researcher, she joined MHM as Assistant Editor.
